Alienware has made an ultra-wide monitor specifically for gaming. It doesn't really give the games any more immersion, but for FPS gamers, you do feel like you're suddenly not so limited. It's pretty much full peripheral vision.
I can respect a developer that doesn't take their game multiplat to make it better. As long as they didn't get cash shoved up their asses by MS to keep it off of Playstation.

In my opinion the first and third were awesome games.
I was young at the time as well and I remember just how good of a game Tomb Raider was. The controls were intuitive and it was an Action/Platformer/Puzzle game all in one.
I never really thought Laura was hot (except Jolie), but the gameplay is what kept me hooked on the series. (At least until the games started going to [explicit word].)
That's not surprising, portable devices with a lot of power can become very hot.

I think that Microsoft has smart business. And they have money to back it up.
They are masters at advertising and pulling exclusives to multiplats or even exclusives with that fat wad of cash under their asses.
Xbox 360 may have over 600 games, but take into account the fact that I can play thousands and thousands of games on my PS3 (PS1 PS2 PS3 PSN)that number suddenly seems a lot smaller.
And yes, I own both consoles.
